97. Al-Qadrالقدر

بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ١1

   Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.

   Listen from ayah 1
2. وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ٢2

   And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

   Listen from ayah 2
3. لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ٣3

   The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

   Listen from ayah 3
4. تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ٤4

   The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.^[1955]

5. سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ٥5

   Peace it is^[1956] until the emergence of dawn.
